Vinod Ralh

Enterprise Architect & Independent Consultant

With over 25 years across IBM, Deloitte, and independent consulting, I've built a career at the intersection of enterprise architecture, governance innovation, and AI platform delivery. My recent work includes establishing architecture governance at Anglicare Sydney - where I created the Architecture Design Advisory (ADA) framework to transform traditional Architecture Review Boards from compliance checkpoints into strategic advisory functions - and leading enterprise architecture for NSW Education's AI initiative serving 100,000+ users across 2,200 schools.

I founded Skills of the Future in 2020 to bring senior architecture and consulting capability to organisations navigating complex transformation. My clients span government, healthcare, education, and financial services. I hold baseline security clearance, TOGAF 9.2 certification, and I'm based in Sydney with national mobility.

What sets my approach apart is the fusion of deep technical architecture with creative problem-solving and human-centred design. I believe the best governance frameworks enable rather than restrict, and the best technology strategies start with understanding people.

Beyond Architecture

The 'Renaissance Man' philosophy isn't a tagline - it's how I approach problems. The skills that make someone a compelling spoken word performer - reading an audience, structuring a narrative, communicating complex ideas simply - are the same skills that make architecture governance work. Creativity and technical depth aren't separate pursuits; they reinforce each other.
